This week’s preview is up! As I said elsewhere, this one is a really outstanding one, and I put my heart and soul into making the photographs and descriptions match up to the high standards of Tony’s dyeing. Well, I tried! I can never match up.

But enough of me, go and look!

Oh, an important reminder! The clocks change on Sunday a.m., which means our update is at 7pm GMT, rather than GMT+1. You can convert that to your time zone by clicking the link at the very bottom of the shop page.

This week’s preview is up! With lots of the new yarn base, Virginia Sock. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Tony has gone wild with colour this week, and my camera rather struggled to keep up, especially with the teal shades. I’ve done my best, but please, make sure you read the written colour descriptions, as they are more accurate than the photos can be.

Virginia Sock

One last comment. I’ve given up entirely editing the photos while the yarn is under the studio lights. I now take the photos, and then edit them (and write the colour descriptions) by natural light. I’m confident that this is producing much more accurate photographs. You will notice that the photos are, in general, much less saturated as a result.

I’m really excited to announce a new yarn in our range. I think you’re going to love this one!!

Virginia Sock

A sock weight single ply yarn, made from 70% superwash merino, 30% silk. 440 yards (400m) per 100g. £14.40 (including VAT), £12.00 (excluding VAT) per 100g skein.

I will have photos for you tomorrow.

Surprise!! Free post on everything left in the shop, from…… NOW!

(I realised last week, doing free post from early Monday morning means that only UK & EU customers can really benefit from it. So now and then, not regularly, but on occasion, I’m going to do the free post offer at a different time slot.)
