Posh Cashmere Club 2010

I’m so excited to be announcing the final details of the Posh Cashmere Club 2010.

The Club will run throughout 2010, with yarn being sent out every other month. You will receive 2 skeins (55g each, so a total of 110g) of a different weight of cashmere or cashmere/silk yarn each time, giving you a fantastic opportunity to try out some of our most popular luxury yarns. The yarns being featured will be:

Sophia 2ply - pure cashmere, 400 yards per 55g skein, retail price £11 per skein.

Sophia 4ply - pure cashmere, 200 yards per 55g skein, retail price £11 per skein.

Sophia 8ply - pure cashmere, 100 yards per 55g skein, retail price £11 per skein.

Eva 2ply - 45% cashmere / 55% silk, 400 yards per 55g skein, retail price £9 per skein.

Eva 4ply - 45% cashmere / 55% silk, 200 yards per 55g skein, retail price £9 per skein.

Eva 8ply - 45% cashmere / 55% silk, 100 yards per 55g skein, retail price £9 per skein.

(The yarn types are fixed, there will be no substitutions or replacements.)

Along with each shipment of yarn, you will receive a club newsletter, telling you about our inspiration for that month’s colourway, and suggesting a number of suitable patterns. The yarn will be sent out at the start of February, April, June, August, October, and December, as follows:

February - 2 x 55g skeins of Sophia 4ply

April - 2 x 55g skeins of Sophia 2ply

June - 2 x 55g skeins of Eva 2ply

August - 2 x 55g skeins of Eva 4ply

October - 2 x 55g skeins of Eva 8ply

I can’t believe it. I go to my calendar to put a reminder on it, and am reminded that I’ll be out of town that week in training. My only hope is that I will have access to my computer at 4 pm. :(

dee, can’t you put in automatically all those who said they are interested when you first posted about 2010’s posh cashmer club, pretty please?

  5. HelenLR Says:

I agree with Ursula. It will be 5am Thursday morning here when this is posted. I say again, “Does not do mornings!” But for this I must make an exception.

This is killing me! I have been sooooo good not popping over and ordering expensive yarns for myself - and now that I do stop over to see what’s up and drool you hit me with a CASHMERE CLUB!!! Thankfully here in NZ it’ll be decent evening time when the sale goes live (though explaining to my boyfriend that we can’t go out swimming if it’s beautiful because I need to satisfy my yarn habit might not go well…better hide the heaps of yarn I bought yesterday!)

Why is it that whenever I look on here in what should be a ’safe’ time, things have changed and the shop is just about to open? Thankfully, I have sooooo much Posh waiting to be used, that I’ll do my own little club and make sure I knit up one of my skeins every other month- will see me through the year and beyond.

Hoping the normal shop will still be around to torture me in the meantime though
