I don’t go in for New Year’s resolutions and all that, but the start of a new year naturally makes you reflect on what has been and what is to come. One of the things I would like to concentrate on this year is improving my photography skills. I have a fantastic camera, but it’s wasted on me, because I only really use to take photographs of the yarn for the shop. So, I’ve decided to give Project 365 a shot in 2009. I will post some of the photographs on this blog, but in the main I will be using my Flickr account for this project. As well as working on my photography skills, I think it will be a really interesting way to document my year. I’m really excited about it!

Thanks for reminding me about this group, Dee! I’m about to get a swanky new camera for my birthday, and I agree, this project would be a great way to play with it.

I did Project 365 in 2007, the year I moved from London to the seaside. Taking a photo a day is fantastically good for your camera skills and it’s fascinating to be able to look back at a whole year of your life in pictures. All best wishes for 2009!
