I am So! Excited!! We were talking last week about taking a holiday later this year, and decided that what we most wanted to do was to go over and visit Tony’s sister & family, who live in Missouri.
“And let’s spend a couple of days in New York on our way through,” I said.
“Let’s do it in October,” I said.
Then the cogs started turning. New York….. October……. RHINEBECK!!!!!!
Yes, we’re going to be at Rhinebeck!! Not in a showing capacity, since that would entail an awful lot more organisation than my lazy butt can manage, but definitely in a buying capacity. Oho yes. I intend taking an empty suitcase with me, just for Rhinebeck purchases.
But more exciting than that is the prospect of meeting up with some of my beloved online friends, who I never thought I’d ever meet with in real life. We’ll have ourselves a little Posh meet-up, shall we? So, who’s going to be there?
I am! I am!!

Yay! Congrats! Just remember, the luggage allowance for transatlantic flights is much better, so take a squishy fold-up job with you for the yarn buying.

Love the idea of a Posh meetup! I’ll be there with friends, both Saturday and Sunday. What fun it will be to meet you…

Dee,
I live about 4 hours away and almost went this year. To meet you and Tony, I’ll do my best to be there!

Well I was considering a trip to NY in the fall, but as my timings aren’t limited to any particular dates, October sounds like fun!!! So although a trip to Pembrokeshire would be a lot easier (seeing how I’m from the UK!), I imagine a Posh meet up in NY would be much more fun.
Timings and money pending…I’ll be there

May I come along as a stow-away in your suitcase? Pretty please?!

I’ll only be there in spirit
but I’m sure you’ll have a great time and I’ll look forward to the blog entries about it as that’s as close as I’ll ever get :o)

Lucky you!
I’ve wanted to go since I started knitting, but it doesn’t work very well with my work schedule and the fact that I live on the opposite coast. But if *you’re* going to be there… maybe if I start whining to my husband *now*…

Rhinebeck is a wonderful idea. You will love it. And you will need an extra suitcase for sure. I plan to drive up from Maryland with a friend or two - it’s about 6 hours away.
