An exciting week for us this week, lots and lots of new yarn bases that I think
you’re going to love! Most of our wool based yarns have merino as the base, but
we’re branching out into more Bluefaced Leicester yarns now as well. Bluefaced
Leicester is a lovely soft fibre, but with a bit more resilience than merino can
have.

Here are the details of the new yarns you’ll see this week (we have more
new yarn bases coming in over the next few weeks as well!)

Erin DK – 85% superwash merino, 15% Donegal tweed neps. 230 yards (212m) per
100g, £13.00
Erin Aran – 85% superwash merino, 15% Donegal tweed neps. 180 yards (165m) per
100g, £13.00
Gretchen 2ply – 55% superwash BFL, 45% silk. 875 yards (800m) per 100g, £13.00
Gretchen 4ply – 55% superwash BFL, 45% silk. 440 yards (400m) per 100g, £13.00
Madeleine – 80% superwash BFL, 20% silk. 875 yards (800m) per 100g, £12.00

The shop preview is now up, and I know I’m biased, but I think it’s a fabulous
one! See what you think. The Flickr set is here. And here are some of my favourites from the week, some old yarns, some new.
